Rampart Library District Board of Trustee applications are currently being accepted due to a vacancy on the Board. An applicant must be a registered voter in the Teller County RE-2 School District and have lived in the District for at least one year.
Trustees serve on a volunteer basis and are appointed to the board for a 3-year term (this term to expire in July of 2022.) Board members of the Rampart Library District meet the second Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m. at the Woodland Park Public Library. The Board is tasked with the duty of helping to direct funds and policies, strategic planning, determining the mission of the library, setting the policy that governs the library and evaluating the Director who oversees the general management of the library. They advocate for the library in the community and are encouraged to attend library functions and programs. They are asked to participate in special committees when needed.
Selected applicants will be given an opportunity to interview with the Library Board. Interested persons who wish to serve should fill out the application and return to either library attn.: Carol Holcomb, Board Chair c/o Michelle Petrazzoulo, Library Director.
