How do I request an interlibrary loan?
To make a request for an Interlibrary Loan or a purchase suggestion, first search on the catalog. You may be able to get the item from another library in our catalog. If you are unable to find the item scroll to top of the page and select “Materials Request”.
When I place a hold why don’t I see what number I am in the queue?
Patrons from all of our partner libraries may be placing holds on the same titles. The way these hold requests are fulfilled may make it very misleading to state the queue position. Some features might cause a hold to get filled sooner (or later) than the number would indicate. For example, if our patron has an unfulfilled hold on an item and it gets checked in at one of our 2 libraries, his/her hold will be filled even if she/he is number 50 on the whole hold list for Aspencat Network.
How do I check out e-books and other e-material from Libby or Cloud Library?

Why do I need to bring my library card each time I come to the library?
Because we are now part of a partnership of many libraries, it is much more difficult to look through the millions of patrons to find your name if you don’t have your library card. With your library card we are sure to find your exact account in a timely fashion and can ensure that there is not a long wait at the front desk.
Why is it important to provide my email address?
Providing your email address will allow for us to notify you of available items in a much more timely manner. With our new system, items will only remain on the Holds Shelf for you for a week. After this week they will be removed and either given to the next person in line or returned to the lending library. With your email address we are able to notify you almost instantly once an item is brought back or scanned in. With telephone notification you are relying on a staff member calling you . This could take much longer depending on when time allows. Notification by email is the quickest way for you to get your materials!
