What can I do with it?
Using the studio space you can produce whatever project you desire. Anything from podcasts and audiobooks to photography and cinematography, music, digital art and animation, and screenplays. Make and edit your projects from start to finish!
If you don’t know how to use a piece of equipment please ask us and we will do our best to assist you.
How do I use it?
Using your library card, reserve a spot using our meeting room scheduling system or check out materials that can be used outside of the studio space. Ask the front desk at Woodland Park Public Library about the items available for check out.

What equipment is available to use?
Reaper Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) and VST Plugins – Create and edit professional quality sound productions such as songs, podcasts, and video voice-overs. Use plugins to play thousands of virtual instruments, add sound effects such as guitar distortion, and enhance the quality of raw recordings.
Blue Yeti USB Microphone – A high quality microphone for use with vocal recordings and live streaming applications that directly connects to a PC.
Canon EOS RP Mirrorless Digital Camera with 3 lenses and Commlite Adapter Bundle with pro accessory kit – This camera is a professional standard for photography. It allows for optimal pictorial documentation of special moments, landscapes, weddings, and more. Both the kit and the camera’s settings allow photographers to perfect photos and engage in artistic expression. This camera can be used for high resolution video too.
2 GoPro Hero 11 kits – Record cinema quality video in a wide variety of indoor and outdoor environments. These kits feature an array of body and equipment mounts, tripods, and waterproof cases for optimal outdoor and recreational filming capabilities.
Hollyland Lark M1 Wireless Lavalier Mic Set – These small wireless microphones can be paired with GoPros, phones, or other cameras to provide great sound recording while remaining nearly invisible to video viewers. Users will enjoy a hands-free experience while recording video or audio.
Neewer Photography lighting kit with backdrops – Used for indoor filming applications, this kit optimizes lighting in any room and provides a green screen to place actors or film subjects in any environment via special effects.
Rode VideoMic Go II Camera Mount Boom Mic – This video camera-mountable microphone points in the direction you are filming and gives much better quality sound than a camera’s built-in sound recording hardware
Shure SM-57-LC Microphone and XLR Cable – This workhorse is a recording and live music standard. Bands such as Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and The Red Hot Chili Peppers have used this mic to record instrument and vocal tracks for entire albums. If you hear a high quality, baton-shaped microphone at a live event, it’s probably an SM-57 with a windscreen.
Corel VideoStudio Ultimate 2023 – Cut, edit, and enhance videos for YouTube, TikTok, or your own cinematic, breakthrough film with this software.
Clip Studio Paint Pro – Utilize this drawing and painting application with the Huion KAMVAS 20 inch drawing tablet to create and improve digital works of art by hand.
Final Draft 12 Screenwriting Software – Before you check out our GoPros or Cannons to shoot your movie or series, utilize this software to superpower and streamline your scene-setting, dialog, and direction.
Ultimate eBook Creator software – Wanna self-publish an ebook? This software allows the author to format their prose and optimize user experiences with standard file formats for dispensation to the general public.
AKAI Professional mini Mk3 keyboard controller with 8 backlit drum pads – This MIDI machine provides the user with a way to play and record thousands of virtual instruments, including drumlines, bass lines, keyboard instruments, and more. Create your own Trap, Drum and Bass, or Trance album with this device and VST plugins through the Reaper Digital Audio Workstation. If you are missing instruments or effects in your music group, you can fill in the gaps with the AKAI.
Audio-Technica professional open back reference headphones – These headphones give the user a true depiction of how audio sounds. Other headphones enhance or change sound quality by adding bass, etc. When mixing and editing, music and video producers need accurate sound, and these headphones deliver.
Focusrite Scarlett 3rd gen Audio Interface for high quality studio recording – Plug guitars, basses, XLR microphones (like Shure Mics), and other electronic instruments with quarter-inch jacks into the FocusRite Scarlett. In turn, the Scarlett transfers the sound to your personal computer. This device is mostly used for recording voice or music productions. Huion KAMVAS 20 drawing tablet – Visual artists, such as painters and sketchers, can use the tablet as they would a real-world canvas for creating and augmenting digital works of arts. This hardware can be used in conjunction with Adobe Photoshop to enhance photos or existing pictures as well. Utilize this application with Clip Studio Paint Pro or Corel applications to create your own visual magnum opus.
Adobe photoshop – This world famous application has been used almost ubiquitously by artists and creators everywhere to enhance or stylize digital photography and make silly memes.
Canon PROGRAF PRO-300 Wireless Color wide format printer – Print high quality photographs in a variety of sizes with this hardware. Charges for materials and ink will apply.
